Shift : Rotational including Night Shifts

 

Job Description:

 

Perform routine Hyperion services maintenance and Application/Database Administration activities (backups, exports, deployments, Restructuring/Defragmentation, Outline compacting etc.) across Prod and non-Prod environments, and follow up with sanity checks

• Maintenance of DR instance and making sure of 100% availability at all times. 

• Migration of Hyperion applications and all related objects across Prod and non-Prod environments

• Performance monitoring of Servers and Applications, and Performance tuning

• Pro-active File size monitoring and regular clean up of servers

• Automation scripting using Windows Batch Files/Unix shell scripting

• Patch impact analysis of all Hyperion modules, and installations/configurations

• Troubleshooting and Resolution of Infrastructure issues by reviewing Application/Essbase Logs

• Creating ODI procedures and packages for data extracts and load interfaces

• Smart view – Assist support team in troubleshooting issues with smartview. Deploy new smartview versions for clients when necessary. Understand configuration of Excel for Essbase connections and additional connections to supporting database schemas

• As and when required, Troubleshoot technical issues and work with Oracle Product Support and/or OnDemand teams (for clients who are hosted @Oracle or on public Cloud) to determine root cause, and resolution
